CD's I have the Pimsleur Spanish CD's and find them worthwhile. Nothing is a replacement for direct contact with Spanish speaking people and practice.

thanks Thanks for the comments. Actually, I was thinking of doing the trip with some stopovers along the way. thinking of maybe a stop at Manizales and Pereira. I know that there are National parks enroute, but again not sure of safety, again.

ColombiaBoard, are the National parks safe? Is this only weekends?
