zlateh comments on moving to Bogota I've lived in Chico Norte, too pricey, too many yuppies. We now live in Chapinero Alto. I think there, Chapinero, and Rosales are nice. A bit pricey, but full of nice cafes, gyms, bars....shops. It just depends what you are looking for.

zlateh comments on looking for apartment in Rosales or Chapinero Alto I think we found a place. But if you know of a place, please let me know. I know it's pricey. We don't want to pay more than about 1 million a month.

zlateh comments on anyone want to form a band? sounds good, Rubito.....I do work days, but maybe we'll figure something out....I tried to catch one of your shows when you were here, at La Hamburgueseria in Usaquen, but I couldn't find the place. I've since found it...nice spot.

zlateh comments on Anyone know how to get from Bogota to Belize City? well, a travel agent online told me the plane ticket to Cancun is like $900. So, the "bus to Belize" idea is really more expensive now, since I can get a plane ticket there, via Miami, for about $1000. I think that's about my best option.

zlateh comments on anyone want to form a band? Ooops.....I could've mentioned, I live in Bogota, near parque 93. If anyone is interested in getting together a jam session once in a while. Sorry to start this big jazz debate.....I just like music, in general, how's that?

zlateh comments on anyone want to form a band? My brother makes his career, his LIFE, from jazz music. He would be appalled to hear that. I can't bear to tell him. Anyone out there a musician, or what?

zlateh comments on Teaching English in Colombia need advice on teaching jobs????? Hi, I'm an American with 4 years of teaching experience, mostly elementary school in the states. I have a teaching license here. I'm going to Bogota in July. I'm set to take a TEFL certificate course there. I'm wondering if I can find a good full-time job after the 9 week course.(around late September). Or, should I try to get a good job full-time that starts in August, and try to do the TEFL course at the same time. It seems like that would be a HEAVY load of work. I appreciate any advice.
