How?
I`m trying to back up all data from VISTA to downgrade my laptop to XP, 2000, or Ubuntu.

webmanco says on Jan 13, 2009, 06:25: you could partition the existing hard drive and move the files you want to back up to the second partition, after that you can format and instal XP or Ubuntu on the C partition. I already copied many files into it and I can`t format the ext HD to NTFS w/o having to copy everything again.
