Why do dogs?

OK, this is about "off topic" as you can get. Why the hell do dogs roll and rub into another dogs excrement? I Googled it ... no luck. My dog got away from Mrs. RJ about an hour before I got home today. When I found him, he had dog caca rubbed all into his fur. I have also seen dogs that are keen for rolling in rotting material, especially dead animals. What's up wit dat?

our dog in Villavo, used to do exactly the same, but we noticed that everytime he was in love he used to come smelling like that... weird... maybe female dogs find that smell attractive who knows, some women find the natural men oudoors (maybe B 0) attractive

dogs rolling around in dead, rotting animals??? err...i have never heard about this before. All I know is they like to sniff other dogs asses and they LOVE to have sex with my leg all the time, then the owner says "You dirty dog! stop that!" lol!!

Ive seen quite a number of dogs sniffing piles of dog shit. thats why I prefer cats, they dont do that kind of stuff.

gringolondinense you do enjoy some weird activities. I suggest you start keeping your "fun" hobbies to yourself, you're making little kids cry.

Robert,

Dogs have fetishes just like people. Can you imagine that some people have this crazy fetish - eating their partner's crap during sex? UUUUGGGGGGGGhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! (Sorry if I offended anyone here - lol!). Now, which is worse? A dog rolling around in shit or a two people doing . . .well, what I just wrote?

I love dogs. By the way, I'm a dog advocate so if anyone is going to mess with dogs, get ready. ; )

My dog rolls in deer caca. I heard it is to hide their scent. After she gets a bath, I rub here with a dryer sheet to make her spring fresh! But never heard of rolling on dead animals....ewww!

Actually deer caca is more acceptable than dog caca. Deer caca is round and hard and usually doesnt spread all over the place.
