I sympathize for TM callers.. After all they are my bread and butter.... I let them get as far as they can without messing up their spiel.... then let them off the hook easy.....

My uncle does the same thing to callers....he told one person that tried to sell him windows that he didn;t have windows - he lived in a tent or a yewt (spelling?)...he keeps them on the line for ever

I asked one for their home number, said I was really busy and asked if I could call them later that night. Of course he/she declined and I said "So you don't take calls late at night for telemarketing either, huh?"

I actually did telemarketing back in the day......long time ago when it was different and no automated systems. They were all real and legit campaigns I worked for too....not anymore unfortunately.
