Before you ask, no, I'm not trying to send a message to all my boyfriends out there. I just thought this was cute. ;)

Tg,.. can I post one of the (I think) all time best Valentine Day songs?
(its a good one... no junk!)

“ I would rather be a conservative nut job rather than a liberal with no nuts and no job.”

Cute song (and graphics), GS!
For some reason I think Glenn Miller's "Moonlight Serenade" is romantic (even without words!) and appropriate for V-Day as well. hehe
I like Mancini's "Moon River" too.

Mario, crazy about the friend of the ex. I also know of people that have done the same. That's just stupid if you ask me though.

I also like his song "Wonderful World". I think that's about one of 5 songs my dad knows the lyrics to.

Thanks, GS! I suppose it is better for my waistline if I just look at the picture instead of actually eating all those chocolates anyway. ;)

houstongal says on Feb 12, 2008, 20:34:

GS...are you still clueless as to what kettle corn is??? They even make microwave kettle corn (not as good as the real thing).

I'm so glad there isn't a Bucky's convenience store/gas station near me. I love their kettle corn!

slguy says on Feb 13, 2008, 10:41:

The visual of you pulling up to DQ in a limo, and asking for a HUGE Blizzard amuses me, TG.

Never mind telling the limo driver when he asks "Where to" - "oh- how 'bout DQ?".

In St. Louis, Ted Drewe's frozen custard has a huge fan base that converge upon its 2 small stores.

It has no indoor seating so you stand in the parking lot eating your frozen custard (pretty much a Bizzard, but I think they're better) or grab one of the few picnic benches available.

I've seen many limos pull up with wedding parties, prom couples, etc. to get their Ted Drewe's fix. And I can recall many times my sorority sisters going out in PJ's to fulfill their fix. It's that good!

Hey, I lived there in the late 70's as well! I went to school at Wash Univ from 1978-1982. Didn't move from there until 1997 to attend graduate school.

I loved living in St. Louis. Lots of wonderful old buildings. I lived in Soulard near the A-B plant a few years before I left, which put me a lot closer to Ted Drewe's than St. Charles!
