U.S. Fiscal Crisis Seems to Have Altered Political Map

McCain's Challenge Is Underscored by Pullout From Mich.

The faltering economy has left Sen. John McCain on the political defensive, altering the landscape in many of the most important battleground states and providing a series of avenues for Sen. Barack Obama to claim the 270 electoral votes needed to win the White House in November, according to political strategists in both parties.

Reducing it to the fiscal crisis is convenient. Not to mention that it coincided with Obama retaking the lead in polls. But I think it is only a piece of the puzzle.

Anyone notice that McCain claimed he would not support a "bailout" bill that included earmarks? Oops! Right in the middle of a campaign where he is lambasting earmarks, right after pledging that he would not support this bill if it had a single earmark, McCain contradicts his alleged principles and demonstrates that he is not honest 100% of the time as he claims to be, and he votes to pass the "bailout" bill. McCain is not a maverick, he is extremely erratic.

Erratic? That is being very kind!

I just heard him again, claiming how he suspended his campaign and returned to Washington to bring everyone together. It seems that is not quite accurate.

He keeps saying how Washinton is busted, where the hell has he been for 26 years, except when he was diddlin' around with Keating & Co. in Arizona?

What BULLSHIT!
