Lcacique says on Aug 8, 2008, 14:20: p.s. I don't really care about the story (I shouldn't say that I do not care...it is really rotten of Edwards to cheat on his wife especially under the circumstances). What is more interesting to me is the fact that some people (not just you, LDW) believed that the "liberal media" was burying the story as a means to protect a possible vice-president candidate when in fact it appears that they were not reporting on it because the only source for the info was the National Enquirer. Hoy se nota en la floresta un ambiente de alegría. ¡Y el rumor de ranchería es mas dulce y sabe a fiesta! 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

podborski says on Aug 8, 2008, 14:46: naw the liberal media wouldn't bury a story for political/philosophical reasons, I doubt many are that principled.

Tinto (Moderator) says on Aug 8, 2008, 14:48: Viva the National Enquirer! Apparently, they are the only media organization with sufficient reporting skills and knowledge of libel laws (plus a little intestinal fortitude) to know they were not going to get their pants sued off by running this story.

Lcacique says on Aug 8, 2008, 15:08: It is a sad indicator when the National Enquirer has more investigative skill than other media outlets...shouldn't they be reporting on the Batboy and his extra-marital affair with the world's heaviest woman? Hoy se nota en la floresta un ambiente de alegría. ¡Y el rumor de ranchería es mas dulce y sabe a fiesta! 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

podborski says on Aug 8, 2008, 18:09: you have to admit it was a funny scene in the movie "Men In Black" when they showed the Enquirer was really the only paper that had it right jaja

Lcacique says on Aug 9, 2008, 13:14: I wouldn't say it gets me high, dwmte7. Like i said, I don't really care about the story. But it does kinda piss me off when politicians pretend (publicly) to be moral, upstanding figures when in actuality many are far from it.
