well friends just a note to let you know that the old fart hasn't died, got aids or simply dropped outta sight. i/we are alive and well if being stuck in lodi (daytona beach) can be thought of as being well. we're giving thoughts of sending our youngest to a catholic borarding school in wash d.c . where her oldest brother lives and then us (mom and I) move back to mother colombia. i'm just to fuckin old for the lucha and the cost of the lucha here in the states. i have no more desire than to sit in the finca and watch the cows piss...that's it. no more mtns to climb. just relax and write my "memoirs".....on the rag.

best to all of you and i hope that we can all kick back and have a few words and drinks together before too long.

In my case Spend as much time in Colombia, i am feed up here although i like the UK, I don't like that the more you work the more taxes you have to paid and everything is becoming more expensive...so you LIVE TO WORK!!! :(

i'm not sure, personally, if i'm envious of the proclivities of youth...clubs, tail, drinking too much, etc. certainly had my share of that, but now, like i mentioned above, just watching cows piss, riding the horses and collecting the eggs and hanging out with my finca (llano grande) friends is more than enough to fill and satiate my days. as it is, the hairs gray (i've finally given to letting it grow...i figure after more than 40 years in a three piece suit, i did my time and now i can be a, what do they call it? a hippy?), the teeth are false, i have aches in places i didn't even know i had places, and chasing tail seems to be an activity from another century...wierd, eh? anyway, i see my youthful habits expressed in my kids and that seems to placate me. even wierder, no?
