I don't think the atom bomb that was New Year's Eve for me can be blamed on her being a barrio girl from Colombia. New Year's Eve '99/'00 was worse, and that girl was a white chick.

In separate incidents, I have had a bar stool thrown at me in my own home by my at the time "live-in" pycha, er ... girl friend, been stuck with a $5500 car pay-off by an ex, had a vibrator thrown at me, but it missed and went into the wall, and lots of other neat stuff like being stalked. So, based on previous experience, I guess this wasn't too bad. jajajaja

OK, I will reasonably try to tackle this. Yes it is 100% true that Colombianas living in the Queens area and Bergenline ave area of NJ just don't want anything to do with non latino men. YESSSSS buttheads there are always exceptions. But if we went to a few bars in Little Colombia 1 in 100 white guys pickes up a Colombiana.

I'm not making this up and neither are the other guys who live there. It's just the way it is.

Why? Many factors depending on the girl - they all have their reasons as to who they date and why - it just ends up that whatever the reason - and all girls are different - it always works out to whities not being on the list.

This is not only Colombianas but Latinas from Cuba and even the DR as well. And this is not only with the hotties but the notties and some of these girls were born in the US and speak fluent English - so it's not just the bitches off the boat. BUT MOPST OF THESE WOMEN I SPEAK OF are Blue Collar and so are their families. The bars in Queens we are talking about are not filled with Single lawyer chicks and white collar officinas. The girls you white guys are picking up in Canada or wherever are money making, educated english speaking assimilated independant broads - easy, easy pickins!

But back to the regualr NYC Latina, there is a great deal of racism and discrimination - against hispanics in the NYC area and has been for decades. Because of this there is a bit of resentment in Latino families against the whities. THere is tremendous animosity against whites in the NYC area. Also, speaking only about the NYC area, second and third generation Latinos SPEAK ONLY SPANISH at home. Can you say this about 2nd & 3rd generation Italian/German/Greek....?

There is a certain pride and sticking together and preserving the culture and the "Plight of your people" in the minds of these Latinos.

So the result is Latino families raised to be prejudice against gringos. It is an insult to the family for some of these girls to bring home a white guy. It's just the way they were raised. The "Stick with your kind" mentality is big and strong in these huge Latino communities.

When the whitey approaches them at the bar they see the upper class guy that is just trying for exotic meat, they see the boss guy who is mean to their father at his job, they see the guy who made fun of her on the school bus, they see the guy who looks at her and other Latinos as just dishwashers.

What about the Colombianas who just got off the boat? They don't speak english and guess what they have in NYC? Millions of Colombianos/Latinos to choose from. Not only are these guys bilingual share their culture and can really relate BUT they are less machista having been Americanized and the chick is in . The Colombiana off the boat is the super PRIZE in NYC

I posted this before, I ahve asked many Latinas why most LAtinas here don't date anyone except other Latinos - I get many different responses, without even thinking, whatever the reposnse just rolls off their tongue - but I NEVER, EVER, EVER get the response, "What do you mean Latinas here never date white guys?". This phenominum is well known.

Maybe they want someone like their father?

Yes there are always exceptions but something is in their blood or their upbringing or something and most are downright rude to white guys.

GS, the bar-stool was the worst. My at the time ex who had refused to move out decided that I shouldn't be talking on my phone in my own bedroom. She flipped out, and I went to "leave the scene" by going down the stairs. Next thing I know, a F-ing bar-stool leg hits me in the elbow, misses my head barely, and crushes in the staircase wall. My elbow looked like I had a golf ball under my skin. I took pictures of it. I think it might have been fractured, but I never went to the doctor.
