Here's probably the last travel show you expected to see going to Iran!

Can watch online - pretty interesting stuff.

I too would love to visit Iran some day in my lifetime.

Iran's Jewish population is the second largest in the Middle East after Israel.

Here's a great documentary on Iran. "Iran Is Not The Problem"

Very good documentary.

Not many Americans know that there is no other Muslim country where the USA is more popular than in Iran. Actually maybe in the world. Where else can you storm in a place and in an obnoxious manner say “I’m an American”, and everyone answers back to you smiling “we love America”. If you don’t believe me, just try doing that in Paris (a city liberated by American soldiers not so long ago) on your next visit…

The Revolution Era murals including the anti-American murals mentioned in the video are being replaced with paintings that reflect themes more relevant to today's Iran.

http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5hlR3s-QjA9fXx-EjDpC...

" If painter Mehdi Qadyanloo has his way, the famous "Down with America" mural at a busy central Tehran intersection could soon be replaced by a new painting symbolising peace. "

The anti-American murals were necessary propaganda at a time when US re-imposition of the Shah's son or some other US puppet dictator was a real possibility.

gringoloid,
Check out the video above for "Goodbye Solo" which stars Red West a member of Elvis Presley's fabled Memphis Mafia.
