Strictly Roman Catholic, though I have read that evangelists are making headway as alot of latinos are bored with Catholicism. Evangelics is the fasting growing religion, but compared to what ? There is nothing else except animism of the indios.

I think a lot of people still think that. Evangelicals in Colombia are a different breed of crazy than those in the US. On the other hand, Colombian Catholicism strikes me as morbid and twisted. Among other things, they take praying for the dead to an art form.

I suspect his savoir-faire wouldn't be too ruffled if he paid a call on our Catholics here in the UK. From what I can gather, they seem to spend much of their time offering hostel accommodation to drug addicts, running hospices for the terminally ill or organising holidays for disabled children.

It was well known over the years that a big chunk of priests, maybe 20-30% were gay. But that doesn't mean that whole group was practicing gay sex.

There have been notorious sex crimes by rabbis and protestant preachers, but you never read about it.

The was the materialism of the Devil and it must stop now or they would all go to HELL......
That was the end of the farming project and the people remained just a faithful and poor as the Church wants them..........it is the Evil Empire.....sad
