Plan China vs Plan Colombia

In return for allowing a the Chinese to establish a naval base in Sri Lanka, China has defeated the Tamil Tigers for them.

The Tigers are far better organized than the FARC, have a large social base, and pioneered the suicide bomb long before the tactic was used by Islamic movements.

It looks like Colombia would be better off letting China build a base in Colombia instead of the US.

yet this in no way hinders the US from funding the Colombian gov.

Colombia might be better off to align more with China and could be rid of thier communisr guerillas just like sri lanka

After all, the Tamil Tigers are a far more formidible force than the FARC.
