PERSONAL MESSAGING ON PBH

I have concern for this in my account and I am going to send my concerns to the correct "powers that be" but I want to make this post out in the open. There might be a puuurfectly good explanation - but until then...

I have posters comment they will PM me or have PM'd me yet I do not get a PM from them.

BTW- If I receive any PM's from PBH that indicate there is a possible virus (this does happen on and off) - sorry I delete and block.

(In the past, I opened one after anothers encouragement and it was a big problem, as if it disabled my spam filter in my email (previously worked excellent!) and I was forced to change email accounts.)

But Monpirri, if you check my profile - you will see we were PMing earlier on PBH ;)

I am not sure where the problem is - I have received a few, but now I know to send unusual emails to Peter. I never knew this as a practice before. Maybe it would have helped me, dunno.

I just went to your profile and I heard music but I do not know what do you meant. If you meant that we can post on each other profile, I do understand that but I was talking about the PM, you know the feature that allows you to send a text message to another member.

CanadaMan: Thanks for trying. Nothing.

I am aware of how some PM's from PBH go to the junk mail - but nothing there either. I have received some messages from PBH - find it ironic that people are not getting to me through it. This is new - since I returned in April.

Yes- I also turned my PM off for a bit when I got a virus - maybe I should just turn it off and forget it. This PM stuff is wearing on my claws, jeje.

Thanks -

Lcac, where are you? Maybe you should check with Tejas - he said Truthspeaker has other motives, might be same tweaker. Just shoot him and get it over with I say (jjeje - joke)

It all went down at about 2:30 in the morning. I heard shit in the backyard, looked out the window and some dude is out there in the dark. I told him to get the fuck out of my yard, but he didn't really respond. I dialed 911 as he came to the back door, banging on it, telling me he would explain everything once I let him in the house (yeah right). I responded that the only way he was coming in my f-ing house was with a bullet hole between the eyes. A fun night.

Things are fine, however, MaFe. He was so intoxicated that I was never really scared of anything and I had a feeling that he was unarmed. Just another crazy cracka (I wish I would have said that to the 911 dispatcher who asked is he black or hispanic as if those were the only two options).

I think it had probably been some time since he had a good dose of meth, which can be just as bad as if he had a good dose of meth. In addition, I am guessing that he spent the evening drinking without taking a break to eat.

He moved some garden tools towards my back gate, but i am not sure if he was planning to steal them or not. He was pretty disoriented and very unpredictable (go figure).

Speaking of crackheads... I went out for a smoke last night in the middle of the show and this guy starts talking with me and gets to the are you native Calgarian question... of course not I'm Colombian I say, so the usual are you a drug dealer question (from the ignorant) comes out. It was so funny because the guy really wanted to get hooked up, he keeps insinuating as if I knew someone in the vicinity, or how long it would take me. I felt sorry for the guy because then he poured his heart and soul out to me, all over a cigarrette...

Actually, I did meet a very cool girl that is actually in the same program of Uni I just finished. She's been dating a Colombian from Bogota and she's actually been down, though her favourite is Cartagena (typical I thought). She's a country girl so I invited her and her boyfriend to my ranch if they make it down to Cali for Christmas.

Romy - sorry to hear that....my ex and I had the same problem. Ironic - guess my ignorance was bliss because I really had no negative ideas about current Colombia. I was completely unaware of the backwards politics too. People would say to most darndest things to him and he would look at them like they were sideswiping him with old lore....Oh well. I think that until Colombia can be pulled out of the darkness - many Americans (and others) will continue to spew stupidity.

Oh - BTW - psst Romy my dear your profile says you were born in Argentina...?

romy says on Jul 15, 2008, 11:33:

you know what Monpirri, to tell you the truth and to give you the benefit of the doubt that you are interested in more than just judgement...I consider myself a global citizen, though there are many countries in Asia and Africa that remain a mystery to me. I don't believe in nationalities or borders. I am the person that is the result of my genetics that have mostly European, a bit of Native and even a bit of African in them. and I'm also the person that is the result of my upbringing which included time in Argentina, Colombia and Canada, along with the countries I have been fortunate to visit. But mainly my parents that were born and raised in Colombia.
So that's who I am in general terms. But if someone asks me "where are you from?" the obvious (and easiest) answer for me is Colombia. And sure a lot of Colombians criticize me that I'm not completely like them, because I have changed a lot since I've been in Canada. However, I believe my true home is still in Colombia and I remain convinced that once I'm done school and establish my career, I will be back in Colombia to live, though I can't really say 'for good' as of yet... Also, I believe I portray a great image for Colombians in North America, considering so many Colombians that have taken shaddy decisions with their lives and have failed to 'impact' the world. People expect me to say I'm Italian or Spanish, even simply Calgarian, because of my appearence and my actions... however, I proudly say Colombian. Maybe I'm wrong to do so, maybe you're right to doubt my 'Colombianess', I don't know, but until I do for sure, I can't say that I will change how I answer that very tricky question.
I hope I didn't just waste my time, anyways..
