Obama's Happy Nohruz Video To Iran

Can mods please move this to offtopic the forum droptown is crashing the browser on my g1.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nowruz

Nohruz is observed in all Iranian influenced societies from Bosnia to India, and today Obama quotes Persian poetry in yet another conciliatory gesture to Iran. However, he only offers words while US battle-ships remain threateningly off Iran's shores. Wth US nuclear sub crashing into
into a US battle-ship today right off the Iranian coast, Iran is waiting for more meaninglful actions than just words.

khameini's response :)

"This is my advice to you. For your own benefit, for your own good, for the future of your country, restrain from your snobbish attitude, hegemony, and your lecturing attitude. Do not interfere in the affairs of other nations. You will see that the United States will gradually lose its hated image in the world. "

What happened to the private, smoke-filled back rooms where stuff like this was supposed to be discussed? A couple of years ago we had the spectacle of the the Iranian President releasing an incoherent 18 page letter to President Bush and now President Obama sends out a silly video valentine. What a bunch of sissies. Bring out the nukes already!

Alternatively, we're 30 years into Iran declaring war on the US, so if the Cold War is any guide, we only have 15 more to go.

I wanted access to health care, housing and education, but, no, I get potholes, trash and silicone tits instead. -Desi.

The fact is, the US has been trying to get rid these guys from the get go, but the situation in Iraq and now Afghanistan has forced the US to change tactics. In my opinion, this "cold war" will come to an end not long from now when Iran finalizes its nuclear insurance policy.
