Something like that happened to us when we lived in Cali. Burglars came in during the night, hubby, me, our two toddlers, two maids and two dogs, all slept through the whole thing. They took our stereos and othet stuff but not the tv which was in our bedroom. We didn't have a pc but they took our copy machine. To wake up in the morning and see that you've had a visit during the night, that your home and safe haven has been violated is a sad and scary experience.

thanks everyone....i least this house tinto and didn't have insurance. and yes, pod, it was kinda made of gold...it did everything but wash dishes. when the folks passed away this past year i used a portion of the spoils to have HP custom build me a laptop that was outta this world. it was fully voice controlled from start up through the web to shut down and of course, office work, typing, etc. had a built in tv. two hard drives, enough ram for the library of congress and all the right probrams at the top of the line. it's sad to think that maybe it just goes for dope, or to some prenderia (pawn shop) for a few bucks. like i said FUCKIN PRICKS!!!!!

houston....you're right about having someone walkin around your house while you're sleepin inside. really wierd.

and traveller....i got rid of all my guns...there were many...a few years ago cause i felt that if something 'wierd' happened or some 'prick' put me up tight, i'd just liberate their soul with out a moments regret or hesitation...i grew up with guns, was for a short time a cop, hunted a lot, was a crack shot, but changes in my emotions and philosophy, etc, i just didn't want the karma of killin someone and even felt that guns are their own magnet and attract their like. i dunno. anyway, i/we didn't even hear the intruders.

later that morn in the kitchen, after the cops left, my wife came up and hugged me and sobbed a bit and said/asked, aren't you really upset.....i guess i was being really quiet and reserved and i asked her if maybe i kicked in the door or punched a whole in the wall or broke a window or a glass or just generally freaked out, maybe everything would be ok and the computer would return....she just looked at me questioningly...
