London Mayoral Elections

Why waste your vote on Red Ken- Trotskyite gravy train jockey?

Boris- dopey, toffee-nosed twat?

Paddick- simpering PC jobsworth?

London deserves a Mayor who'll put the needs of the regular punter first! So cast that vote for Winston. Winston McKenzie: The man on the family values, law and order and anti-gang ticket!

Don't let me, his press agent and his wife be the only ones voting for him. Choose Winston!

"No more namby-pamby policing. I'm going to smash the gangs!"

You wouldn't hear those other big girl's blouses talking like that...

Winston Mackenzie? Is this for real? Can't see him getting the East End vote!
I'd vote for Noddy and Bigears if it got rid of Red Ken. The guy ought to be hung for treason.

He says he is getting rid f C-charge from 10 a.m to 6 p.m, I love C-charge thats how all taxes should work...Unavoidable for anyone who wants to use the service that is. Changing the times of C Charge would just move peak hours, most people don't do crap at work from 9 to 10 anyway.

It's all hot air to get elected. He sounds like he's saying what he thinks people want to hear.

Smash the Gangs? How? He'd have to change a few laws first, arm the police and give them legal immunity, impose curfews, increase prison sentencing, enforce repatriation and infringe the human rights of just about every ethnic minority group in London (none of which a Mayor can do). Nice thought though. Ironically, he sounds very much like the BNP.

If generations yet unborn are to see the streets of London safe again, the long hard process will only start with a maverick like McKenzie.

I doubt more than a few hundred people will vote for him though. Ah well, 'a man's reach must extend his grasp' and all that..

I agree. Something pretty heavy handed needs to be done now. But we all know that politicians fall out of the same tree. And no matter what they want to do to make things better when they start out, it's soon knocked out of them by the civil servants and pressure groups who really run the country.
Any vast change in Europe and the UK is going to be event driven - like a series of attacks or a major incident like 9/11. Then some strong, previously unknown, leader needs to take the reigns and, with justification, turn things around.
Unfortunately, I think we'll be waiting for a bloody long time.

They're cunts to a man.

Your point about pressure groups etc. is a good one. It explains why the Tories are desperately trying to be 'more liberal than thou' at the moment, rather than playing the obvious populist law and order card. They know where the power is and it ain't with the public.

Kalder, when you get here later this year we'll have to put wrongs to rights over a pint of light of bitter.
Unfortunately, for a lot of people, Britain needs to elect some extremist arsehole for a few years in order to bring the status quo back into equilibrium. I believe that most Brits feel this way but memories of Nazi's, jackboots, skinheads, and unjustified violence and mayhem remain deep in the psyche of most.
Why do us Brits have such a strong sense of morals, even when we know it's to our own eventual loss? What a nice bunch of idiots we are!

Light and bitter? That takes me back- we used to drink it as teenagers because, the way it was poured, you'd often get a bit more than a pint. And up for much Poker with you this summer.

And you're right- traditional British fairplay and tolerance has been cynically exploited by the elites.
