I think that, if the powers that be are insistent on this current bowl system, they should take all of the best mid majors of the past 10 years[BYU, Boise State, Utah, Texas Christian, etc..] and put them into a conference, where the winner of that conferece gets to play for the big prize, the national championship. To this point, they have always been excluded from the BIG game, simply because of being mid majors, even if they were undefeated. Put the best of them in a conference, and there would no longer be strength of schedule issues.
