J. Jackson apologizes for verbalizing his desire to castrate Obama

Was suprised I did not see this on the board...if someone already posted - sorry please omit.

I do not have all the details, so maybe someone does..but this morning the local news aired an off camera clip off Jesse Jackson whispering to another announcer (off the cuff conversation). They added subtitles so that you could understand wat he said. The other announcer was African American. Jesse verbalized disagreement with Obama's representation of "our people" and that he "could cut just his nuts off" for this...
(or something like this)

Many apologies have followed (maybe someone can elaborate?)

Although I am not a big fan of JJ, I would never take his thunder away for his attempts at being a political liasion and the positive contibutions to his interests that others have benefited from.

What struck me the MOST was the fact that he has had massive media coverage and public speaking experience. The VERY FIRST THING they teach you in Media is:

ALWAYS ASSUME THE CAMERA IS ON - Do not say anything in front of the camera that you would not say on the air. This is very unusual - especially after seeing the clip - I got a totally different take on him too...He is also a religious leader.

I've noticed that Plato, many many times. Ever notice how those cars with the religious bumper tags seem least likely to kindly allow you to go in front of them. They do seem to, not all, by any means, be very protectionist and fear driven, in general.

jaja...esanch I must say when I was posting I had a brain fart and could not remember or recall any of the things he has done specifically. All I do recall is that it appears he picked and chose what he wanted to do so it was on his terms.
My best friend was from Chicago and attended his church. She was very politically active and despised him. Said he was a fraud. I have no idea if it is true....but she would testify to the things he was known for locally way back before he was a talking head.
