IS IT THE END OF THE INTERNET?

Saw an interview the other day where the Editor or Writer (??) of PC magazine states that at the rate we are going we will run out of IP addresses in 3 years or less.

The comment of the interviewer was that we had this issue with Telephone area codes and solved it.

Does anyone think this is going to be a problem? Or just something people are going to work up until the anticlimax?
