(Imaginary) PBH 'meet-ups'

I've been enjoying reading all these lists here- favourite films, rockers etc.

What about sharing other favourite celebrities- literally? Write in and tell us which would make up the other two-thirds of your ideal fantasy 'threesome'.

Keep it clean- no specifics required. If of a prudish bent, you may assume that the menage is merely a get together for coffee and the exchange of recipes.

For myself, I'd like to have Salma and Liz Hurley over for a chat about puddings.

Wynona Ryder and Heather Graham!

As long as Wynona doesn't want to talk, I think she's probably a nutcase. Jennifer Aniston could be in there too. Meg Ryan (before her joker surgery).

(I'd always have time for Penelope and Salma, but didn't call dibbs fast enough.)

Christina Aguilera if I felt like slumming a bit, if you know what I mean.

Air France had a representative waiting to escort 12 of us to the gate (we had to pass through 2 check points in 40 minutes), but they needed to have an escort for our bags! Geneva used to have one of the highest rates of heroin use in Europe. Then they decriminalised it and started treating it as a medical matter, rather than a criminal one. Consequently, the numbers of addicts plummeted- as did associated illegal activities. A sensible approach to drug abuse would do Colombia a few favours no doubt, ie: If cocaine were legalised worldwide etc. etc.

But that's all been said a thousand times before. Back to something lighthearted-

On the way to work this morning, I thought how nice it'd be to have Julia Dreyfus and Monica Bellucci over for tea and crumpets...

Pod, things still shut down at 6 pm and early on Saturday. Stores are closed on Sundays as well (except at the train station and airport in Zurich). It is a rather quiet and orderly life. But the hotel overlooks Lake Zurich. On a clear day you can see the alps in the far distance.

We're going to tour around this weekend. This is my 3rd visit here and I haven't ventured outside of Zurich and the office area (outside of Zurich) and I have 2 team members who've never been to Switzerland before. So we'll visit Lucerne this weekend and possibly some towns in the other direction.

Pod, you prefer Swiss chocolates to Belgian chocolates? I prefer Belgian myself. No problem, you'll get a delivery of chocolates, Gabo...what about you?

Julia Dreyfus, I'm with you on that one kalder, she'd be very fun, although she's one of those women who looks great sometimes, and other times not at all. I think Uma Thurman is like that as well. But more often lately she's not looking too good. (I don't know Monica belluci, but better check her out one day)

kalder says on Sep 19, 2007, 07:47:

You must check out Monica Bellucci! It'd be a sin not to.

I agree with you about Julia Dreyfus and Uma Thurman re the ebb and flow of their aesthetic appeal. A lot of people are like that.

Mind you, I was watching that anodyne guff 'The New Adventures of Old Christine' (in Colombia) and I thought Dreyfus didn't scrub up half so bad for a 47 year old.

Surprisingly enough, there isn't much chicken on the menus here. Lots of meat and seafood though. But neither of them are complainers so that's good.

OK Mona...for you, this weekend we will be like the Italians and let loose. I give the Italian women credit, they did get the boat driver to smile.

This morning we noticed the guard in the parking lot is cute. I think you would like him because he's in some kind of uniform with a hat....almost like an officer of some sort. In the afternoons, they take off their coats if it's warm. We aren't sure what they're guarding. There's always someone standing in the parking lot every morning. Sometimes it's a woman, most of the times it's a guy. Always in uniform.

I think we're having fun because I have an all-female team. It definitely wouldn't be the same if we had a guy with us (although we do have some fun guys that we work with). You can be our honorary member! Hmmm....maybe I should put my name down for that audit we're doing in the UK next year. Do you know where Staines is?

Believe me Mona, there are some days I could use a good laugh! We have some really boring people that makes spending 3 weeks with them quite painful!

So what is it about a soldier's uniform Mona? I was thinking it was that they're neat, fitted, etc.? We saw a bunch of Swiss soldiers on the train to Luzern this weekend. I think some were coming home. You would've been happy seeing them.
