that's cool... I can dig that (at least I wish I could) heheh. Actually being serious for once, that's way too messy and weird for me to handle, I know this stunningly good looking female bisexual and I can't handle hanging out with her too much it's just not for me.

MaFe says on Jul 23, 2008, 08:45:

Ha Romy...I am not bisexual...love men..they are enough for me...but when I see a beautiful woman I am not afraid to let her know and admire her beauty!

I have been in that situation....my career is male dominated..(when we do physical trainings, I am usually the only female..dones't bother me) .I was also an officer in the military...mostly male.. I was in situations where I was the only female at PT...doesn't bother me at all.

romy says on Jul 23, 2008, 09:26:

so your admiration for females is purely superficial? do you have more male than female friends? I ask because to me it's very interesting... heterosexual males will tend to have more male friends as they can bond better, while homosexual males tend to have more female friends for the same reasons. I believe it works out the same way for females...

MaFe says on Jul 23, 2008, 09:46:

I have more male friends. I grew up with 6 brothers. I am not sure if that has to do with it. I don't see anything wrong with admiring same sex beauty...not superficial at all. I also don't get embarrassed being just with all males, or all females...

It probably does as all the testosterone they rubbed on you will most definitely make some sort of impact. Though recent studies will point to the great significance of genetics in this type of behavior.
The other thing has to do with your definition of beauty. For me I believe 'beauty hides in the deep', therefore for me to find somebody beautiful, it's not merely physical but there are so many more factors involved. Therefore, I do consider some males to be beautiful, and it has nothing to do with sexual desire. I don't embarrass easy either, I believe that's a strong quality in a person... I particularly admire those people that are not afraid to be alone.

MaFe says on Jul 23, 2008, 10:45:

Romy, I agree that beauty "hides in the deep" but there are times that I have seen a beautiful female/male and can admire their beauty- not ever speaking to them.

My definition of beauty is not skin deep!! For me their ability to carry a conversation is more important than just having a pretty face! What good is beauty if your inside (intelligence, personality) is ugly?

I am very good with people, and I spend the majority of my time alone..when I go out, I have a great time.

I'm glad we finally came to a common consensus... I believe we have similar beliefs in these regards.

Anyways what I was thinking when I said 'Beauty Hides In the Deep' and a little 2008 Action for CK so she can keep up with the music scene as she gets older ;)

Just before dawn comes
Sadness is on
Just one more moment
And I am leaving

Few words on a small note
While you are asleep
I can only steal away
Thats how I tend to be

There are thing I never get to say
The fear in me always in the way
A broken heart never mended
A hurt I can never forget

A little pearl
Locked in a shell
Can not explain
Each breath Im taking
Can not find the means to an end
To move create one liberated moment
Beauty hides in the deep
Beauty hides in the deep
But its so hard to find
Being wrapped up inside

I always wonder
Why dont I feel
What the world out there is like
And how I can fit in

I dont expect you to know me
Or how I lost all my dreams
When I cant even find myself
In the choices I made

(X2)
I want you to know
I’ll never forget you

Romy, I didn't catch on to the literal song...lyrics are very true.

Another point about this is that people will aways assume that everyone's interpretation of beauty is the same. It isn't and people should Leanora to respect that.

That was a tough one to get though, because it's not a well known song. And in the context of my comment I was speaking in more literal terms, but the lyrics do fit in well.

I'm sorry CK... you're my PBH-best-friend, I crossed the line I think... There's nothing wrong with mature and sophisticated with a youthful spirit. It's how you feel inside that matters, not what others tell you.
