I used to have a pair, they were perscription, had special aviation filters. The coolest thing though.....the sun always shined when I wore them.

Don't say that SL...age is all in your mind.
You can still wear pink glasses....who cares what other people think?

I was issued my glasses by the Army, as I was a flightmedic back then. I cant remember where the rose colored pair were issued....think it was Fort Rucker Alabama because I remember the glasses they gave me in Korea had "green" lenses, of all things. Those were stolen while being shipped to the states. The 101st Airborne issued smoke colored lenses, if remembering correctly.

The rose colored glasses were my favorite, I could use them while on duty and not get in trouble for it...because they were government issue. hahahaha they were so cool!

But I agree slyguy...get another pair!

Slgy: You are scaring me.......this is one of my idioms "rose colored glasses".
GET OUT OF MY HEAD. You keep this stuff up, I don;t know what to think.

This is my theory: People are going to be what they are and do what they want - nothing you can do about it. I prefer to just remember and see only the good - why not?

Doc William :"they were perscription" ...sweetie, I don't think these are called Aviator glasses - they are called Xanax. Excellent prescription. jeje

Lucky for me, I don't think I ever owned a pair. But I still don't consider myself a pessimist either (as some on here might describe me as being).

That's why I never had a pair in the first place. ;) No idealistic notions coming from me.

Notice the bullet holes in the door, door casing, and columns in this building on campus. There are some in the brick too but you can't see them in this picture. The legend is that they are from the civil war, but most people agree they are really from back in the 1960s when James Meredith was first enrolled in school.

Well, Dawg. Probably not a good idea to call Phil then

One thing I will say...is...consider each day as if it may be the last time you see the one you Love and it will all fall into place. Keep it exciting and spontaneous, but be accountable and relaible at the same time too.

Ok my 2 cents

sorry Roberto, and yeah it was a great movie, and one of those rare occurences where the movie was as good as the book, since the author, the late James Dickey, a Clemson grad, btw BillyB, was very involved with the making of the movie.
I could have lived without that one scene, you know the one, but I guess it had to be there for the story to work as well as it did.
