I do like baseball though. The St. Louis Cardinals is my team. Lived there for 10 years during the '80's. Saw game 5 of the 1987 World Series with SRO tickets. What a blast.

These kids are 18 and 19 and 20, and the momentum shifts on a dime, and it seems there is nothin they can do to stop it. If things go according to plan, I will be in Colombia in October. If so, you guys will need to keep me up to speed on college football. I hate to leave in October, as the weather is perfect here in SC during that month, but I gotta do what I gotta do, and the weather is always at least moderately good in Bogota, even though it is always funny to me that the people there always seem to complain about it. GS...from what I've seen so far LSU has the best team. They are scary good. I think the only potential roadblock is Florida but I still think LSU wins out.

As for Alabama, the first loss comes Saturday against the Hogs...hope I'm wrong though. It'll take Saban a couple of years to have a kick ass team.
I'd hate to be him next year when the Tide goes to Red Stick aka Baton Rouge.

Oh... damn. Wash almost pulled the trigger on USC. I think Washington (are they also the Cougars? No se) did enough damage, as the announcers said, to cause the sportwriters to move 'those Other Tigers' up to #1. (?)

'the mighty might' got pancaked a couple times last night, and admitted it ;)... but also had two or three big solo shoe-string tackles.... one on a kick-off.
