DennKucinich’s platform:

* Creating a single-payer system of universal health care that provides full coverage for all Americans by passage of the United States National Health Insurance Act.
* The immediate, phased withdrawal of all U.S. forces from Iraq; replacing them with an international security force.
* Guaranteed quality education for all; including free pre-kindergarten and college for all who want it.
* Immediate withdrawal from the World Trade Organization (WTO) and North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
* Repealing the USA PATRIOT Act.
* Fostering a world of international cooperation.
* Abolishing the death penalty.
* Environmental renewal and clean energy.
* Preventing the privatization of social security.
* Providing full social security benefits at age 65.
* Creating a cabinet-level “Department of Peace‿
* Ratifying the ABM Treaty and the Kyoto Protocol.
* Introducing reforms to bring about instant-runoff voting.
* Protecting a woman’s right to choose while decreasing the number of abortions performed in the U.S.
* Ending the War on Drugs.
* Legalizing same-sex marriage.
* Creating a balance between workers and corporations.
* Ending the H-1B and L-1 visa Programs
* Restoring rural communities and family farms.
* Strengthening gun control.

As to Kucinich? No one really believes, not even him, that he has any chance at the nomination. BUT- anyone who encourages a more diverse public debate than "It's time for change!" and "I have the experience" is ok by me.

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton won New Hampshire's Democratic primary Tuesday night, pulling out a stunning victory over Sen. Barack Obama in a contest that she had been forecast to lose.

Why is that great news? I think it's depressing. We could have four more years of a Republican in the White House if the Democrats nominate her. What you Yankees don't seem to understand is Hillary is hated almost everywhere outside the north and California. As for Obama, New Hampshire (like most of the north) is deeply racist and he's just lucky he's alive to continue the race. He'll win South Carolina.

Please give this country a break, we need new blood, new idea's and new people in Washington. This country cant take another Clinton. Besides she has already trashed her own reputation by crying, the whole world saw that and iot is a sign of weakness at a time when we need strength in Washington.

I think she will win. Obama does not stand a chance, he does not have any experience, most of his votes in Iowa were people who's ages are between 21-30yrs old and watch Oprah's TV show, read her magazines and so forth; if He did not have Oprah, he would not even be on the race.
I am not convinced about Osama (excuse me) Obama rethoric about change, he is an unknown, and like I said no experience, in politics inside and even worse foreign policy experience. Hillary is a tough woman, even if she "cried" on national television, and who says you cannot get emotional? even the toughtest of the toughest,will get emotional from time to time. I have seen a lot of men cry and not because they are weak or stupid, or want attention for themselves. She has a lot of charistma and witt, very well educated and is married to a man who, even with his faults, can help her achieve her goals and be a great president. Her policy on health care, is absolutely a plus for me and I am sure a lot of other americans, it is absolutely inconcievable, today in the 21st century, that millions of americans do not have decent health care. She wants to stop this miserable war, which is not going anywhere.
I sure do not want my country run by people who have been influenced by watching Oprah Winfried's TV shows and endorsements!
Cheers

hey huskie she voted for the war and voted to support it. her health plan is a disaster, the goverment would have total control over your health.

A MESS all over the world, AFGANISTAN, IRAQ, PAKISTAN, IRAN, NORTH kOREA, ISRAEL and the list goes on and on. Do you think the war is a good thing? Look at the Economical disaster taken place right now...money thrown down the drain to support countries that will stab the US in the back soon enough. As far as the health care situation, the government already controls over your health. Is she full of...it because she is a woman?

Christo..............how many times does a fella have to point this out...??..... S.C. is of no consequence to Sen Clinton. It is a given that S.C. will be contested by Obama and Edwards.
Obama because the Democratic party voters in S.C. are predominately African American and Edwards because it is his home State.

Both have spent a large amount of funds there...........Clinton has not. Money is much more regulated during the primaries. Each candidate chooses carefully where they spend their time and money. Clinton has spent very little time and money there.

A victory for Clinton in S.C would be coming in a close third. Anything better than that would be huge for her.

"richest country on earth" CatGirl

Remember that the USA has only those funds taken from the people living here! The US government has no money except what it confiscates from it's own citizenry.

One of the biggest surprises for me when talking with people living in Colombia is they are not aware all of the USA government funding comes from the people who are taxed. For some reason they believe the US Government just has this enormous wealth that should be shared around the world. A pot of gold if you will!

Please do us all a favor and tell your friends the largess is at the expense of all those hard working people of the States and comes from the wages of their productivity.

Strange how things turn out in politics. I was a kid growing up in the 70s, about 50 miles from Cleveland, Ohio and just starting to read the paper and watch the news. Kucinich was mayor of Cleveland then and (from what I remember) a complete failure - the city went bankrupt, the schools were taken over by the federal government, something fishy was going on with the proposed sale of the municipal power plant, the mafia wanted him out of the way, etc. In short - it was bad news 24/7 about Cleveland and Kucinich. Off I go to college, I move away, and then about ten years ago he gets elected to the U.S. House of Representatives and now he's running for President. He completed the trifecta of Cleveland as a laughing stock (the others: Mayor Ralph Perk's hair caught fire and the Cuyahoga RIVER caught fire) - and now he wants to be President. What a country! ha-ha
