Impressively, even after I woke late the next day w/ a screaming, treacherous hangover, I still thought the boat liked the name...

I thought the devil/pirate was looking for a Beneteau Oceanis 35 or Catalina 34... sounds like you found yourself a little multihull. I assume this is a compromise between you, the baby and the wife. You get your toy but no long cruises? Or is it a monohull-racer, making it a little less comfortable to convince the wife you won´t be gone for months?
