911 Phone Lines Down

Okay, so I just received a breaking news update from my little city letting me know that the 911 phone lines are down...

Is it me or is this something that maybe some of us don't need to know... I mean, if I was a criminal and received this e-mail, I'd be busy plotting some type of crime spree about now...

Sure they provide an alternate number, but, come on, like anyone is going to call... Just picture, a liquor store being robbed, you go call 911, then you remember you have to call the other number, but you have to look it up...

Sometimes, I just don't get it... That's all just venting...

CG... Yes, I do live in So Cal, but the actual city I live in has less then 50,000 in population, I don't live in L.A. or O.C. anymore... I'm sure they would be smart enough not to make this information handy....
