when Des come online and chat me up I know I've been working to hard ;-)
mmm Caslug .... combining work and pleassure isn't bad especially if you can dump the major part of the costs on the expenseaccount to broarden the cirle of people that co-sponsor the trip ROFL
But to the more important stuff .... Achilles recovery ... is around a year .... from april .....this year ... so around april 2006 I'll be back to normal ... or at least normal in the sense more ready for some hiking which is a must if you go to to South America (at least in my book).
Next if going alone ... I'd sure have to master some basic Spanish too as being dependant on people for all translation is a pain in the long run.
I'd say that the board needs a place where some people can be thrown to get a cold shower from time to time ... for day/few days/week more .... permanently ;-)
OK guys and dolls fill me in .... what have happend lately .... except for PBH to go through it's 3-6 month cycle of increasing level of attacks et all ;-)

Buddy ... whatever you quest you have a a list of shortcommings yourself that the paper produced from Swedish forrests wouldn't be enough if we had to bring them all.
Now to put all "Europens" in one bucket and classify them as reason for jews to be killed in GERMAN concentration camps just goes to display your own ignorance during your own education .... and it seems you have quite a lot to do on that account.

he he Well if you're a fella that is not just licking the sun a broken achilles kind of put a little obstracle to being just that .... active.
My trip there was killed for that reason .... ever heard about black satire humor ;-)
I had the subjectline changed just because of you, as the first subject for this post was to ironic for people to catch.
And getting a broken achilles tendon back in shape and stretched to regular operational length is a hazzle .... so it'll keep me FROM doing active traveling for a WHILE.
I was kind of looking forward to go to Colombia earlier this year but as you can see in this thread/image gallery I had a few glitches that kept me grounded ;-)

If your hands is alergic to some of the "softeners" that is added to rubber-cleaning-gloves then this is a very valid outcome somewhere in the process of healing.

The problem of getting help/support and such for Colombia
is that Colombia isn't the only country around that could need some.
I'm not saying that Colombia(ns) shouldn't do something it self (themselves), but they'd need a "few" helping hands from outside of Colombia ;-)

Does the material you referred to exist in english !!
For the second part:
It's always good that people take interest in a matter maybe they can contribute. But with the material you referred to in Spanish people will have to take their home-country as example or simply just write what they have on their minds.
When new people look at a case they might come up with new usable novel ideas or ideas based on old ones.

Well I'm not an expert in these matters but from what I've
noticed ... those countries not saying "how high" when IMF and the likes comes around with a plan has actually "performed" better than those who did.
I don't think that following one economic paradigma to fix the "problems" of a whole country. Can be that some sectors should be run that way and others in a mix of "semi regulated" paradigma.
This is of course just a very short input to the discussion that I'm sure that more able users will have here ;-)

Yes .... besides the contract stuff that I've been waiting for I was lucky to get:
1½ Flu
2 times skin-condition (some allergic reaction after using rubber-glowes with cotton inside ..... GREAT)
2 times change of most of skin on hands due to above .... (VERY FUNNY).
Do I look forward to get my ass out of here by now .... YOU BET.
I will just take a revenge and extend my holiday to 7 weeks ;-)
