hire me! hey Jasmine, I´m colombian and I speak english fluently.. need a hand??? I´m a graphic designer, and other than that learn things wuite fast... let me know!

And to elizabeth.. well, you can get a student visa, but I think you should get a job first in Vz, and get some money so then you´d be able to live here for some time and see what it´s like.. you can come for a week and check out what kind of spanish lessons suit you, is just a matter of seeing how things work here...

about the Plat I think lately the plat has been made only by the name.. the rooms smell bad, and most of the time things are dirty... good thing about it is the quietness, noone bothers you and there are cool books you can trade with the owner. But hostel Sue is nicer, cleaner, has a better kitchen and in general the hole place is cool, and doesn´t smell... is being cleaned all day long and there are lots of food many people leave behind. cons: is quite noisy, and unless you have earplugs you´ll be awake untill 2 or 3 in the morning... but other than that, I´d recommend it better than the Plat.

Palm tree well, i didn´t stay at casa kiwi because there were many people recommending not to go.. instead I went to palm tree.. dont even remember the adress but is pretty nice and the people staying there are super cool... just another option...

-metaselo culo arriba.: stick it up yours
-no me joda.: back off, fuck off
-y aja.: uhu
-esa mierda.: that´s it! or that crap
-ni mierda.: no way
-tiene mas culo una gata empinada.: a cat has a nicer ass than you
-coma mierda, trague mierda.: eat crap
-tirar, jalar, pichar.: to fuck
-tiene guevo: like, it´s unfair, not right
-gonorrea hijueputa.: self explanatory.. is the worst you can say as an insult..
-que chimba.: cool
-que boleta.: nasty, something that is "lobo" or something not graceful
-que bandera.: is like something shameful to do

-su madre.an answer to any insult... anything can be returned to your mother...

-ole malparido.: within a group of friends, is like saying hey you!, but to unknown people, is synonim of I want to fight w/you.
-metase un dedo.: stick a finger
-se fue encanado.: they put him in jail
-le dieron piso.: they killed him, (not used in Bogota though)
-parce.: friend, but not classsy either, not recommended...
-abeja.: someone either pretty smart, or pretty dumb.. used both ways
-avion.: someone who takes advantage of others.
-tirar: to have sex
-que puteria: something super cool
-no sea mamon: dont bother
-que oso: what a shame.
-que cagada: is so sad...
-no sea indio, no sea guache: dont be a prick
