Whitty comments on Cali to Pisco Thanks folks. I´m in Cali now, staying up near Av.6. I know about the earthquake there, and am actually going to work as a volunteer with an NGO down there, reconstruction and such like. As for British English, it´s a long story, but they seem ok about it. La Campiña - are you the guy who´s having the house party on Saturday night? My friend (who is working at British English now, and wants to watch the rugby) is going along with his new workmates. If so, I´ll see you there, thanks. see some of you soon, no doubt! c

Whitty comments on la campiña Hi there! The school we're at is British English - do you know it? We'll be in Cali on Wednesday and I guess will have to start looking for a more permanent place to live - any recommmendations on where to start looking? Either shared or private... cheers

Whitty comments on Cali - how good? British English...do you know it? I seem to have also got a part-time position there but they haven't been in contact with me directly. By the way, do you know where we could start to look for somewhere more permanent to live - either a private flat or shared with other people? cheers

Whitty comments on Cali - how good? Sounds like fun, but afraid I'm not there till the 26th. I'll keep it in mind though la campiña. The reason I'm going is that my friend has got a job teaching English, and for want of something better to do, I'm following. No great plans, just seeing where things take me, which is as good a reason as any for everything I've done so far. Trying to look for development work with charities...
