WestCoastGirl comments on Colombia Blog is getting boring Just to clarify... A moderator at CB has access to your IP addresses, so if a person has multiple personalities/handles, we know about it. Sweetgirl and Costena is the same person. We've known about it for weeks.

WestCoastGirl comments on Colombia Blog is getting boring Bquilla I hate to be a stickler for details, but if you review the history of posts for Bquilla, it originally stated that YOUR HUSBAND was the American and YOU were the Colombian. You are the costena, right?

WestCoastGirl comments on Colombia Blog is getting boring Just an observation.. The original poster's previous post are extremely different than the one above. In his previous posts, he is quite articulate. In this post, it is as if a different person wrote it. I'm thinking it is a jealous wife using her hubby's handle. It's just a theory. Persephone/Reina is loved a cb!! ; )

WestCoastGirl comments on Here we ___, in Colombia they ___ Here/there Here you can sleep in quietly until 10 am, in Colombia you can be awakened at 6 am by shouting voices that say, "TIEMPO, ESPACIO, ESPECTADOR!" or "SE ARREGLA LA OLLA A PRESION!"

WestCoastGirl comments on You dropped everything and relocated to Colombia Cerealkiller I disagree with you. The Colombians in the US I know are not all low-income people. The majority of Colombian immigrants and children of Colombian immigrants I know in California (I can only speak for this state and my experience) are well educated and have professional careers. I know a few Colombians who choose to go to Europe because they were denied a US visa. I would not generalize and state that all Colombians who went to Europe fall into this category as I don't think you should generalize and state that all Colombians who come to the US are low-income Colombianos. And that is my opinion. : )

WestCoastGirl comments on Where can I take my Colombiana here in the Los Angeles to have a good time. Disneyland If she has never been to Disneyland or Disneyworld, I would definitely suggest Disneyland. I have a Colombian friend who married an American and she absolutely loves Disneyland. She says that you don't see anything like that in Colombia. At this time of year it shouldn't be too crowded, except if you wait for Thanksgiving Holiday weekend. Have fun! Take lots of pictures.

WestCoastGirl comments on La reciba y la despidida Adrimm When I was growing up, I used to go to Colombia often with my mother and everytime we would arrive at the airport in Cali we could see all of family waiting for us at the airport. I just assumed this was normal. It was really nice to see all of our family waiting anxiously for us.

WestCoastGirl comments on Feel colombian? Ditto I want to start off by saying that I'm new to this forum and enjoy reading people's prospective of Colombia.

WestCoastGirl comments on Awful....rumor, right? Not necessarily I don't think the ATM robbery can be intrepreted as an isolated incident. I believe it can probably happen to anyone withdrawing funds. My husband grew up in Bogota and he was robbed at knife point for his Nikes. My Dad lives in Cali and he regularly withdraws funds from the ATM, although, someone did get a copy of his card (no idea how) and had a great time in Cartegena. Needless to say, identity theft happen everywhere.

WestCoastGirl comments on Something Needs to Dramatically Change on This Website BxUnica I wanted to comment that I agree with your point of view. I have been reading the posts here for quite some time but I was compelled to write after reading the long-drawn out bickering. I think you've hit a nerve!
