Latina Linda is doing great! For those of you that were wondering what Latina Linda has been doing after her surgery, well here it goes. She has recuperated wonderfully. She is a singer and is currently on tour throughout the US and is preparing for an international tour. You can read all about her tour on her myspace site http://www.myspace.com/mauikai.
This is the main reason for her not returning to post here on PBH. She is constantly on the road. I keep in touch with her via email once in a while.

I think I've figured you out Mr You are one of these guys that goes to Colombia to find a servant wife. One that will cook, clean, have your babies and cater to your every need, meanwhile putting her needs aside. Well Ryan you are in the 20th century now, and if this is what you classify as the "natural" then you need surgery of the brain.
I think you are 100% wrong about men not liking a woman with confidence. A man that lacks confidence and self esteem will look for their equal counterpart and this will be a disaster of a relationship. I have always been confident, and not because of my exterior apperance, but rather because of what I have to offer from the inside. I am intelligent, caring and very giving of myself. Yes the plastic surgery made be feel better about my external apperance, but in no way has it affected who I am and will always be.
Now about this being a selfish act, you make no sense what so ever, because, I am spending my own money to do what I choose. If that was the case then you are selfish by spending money on trips to Colombia to meet there so called "natural" women. By the way have you found one yet? I know we Colombian women like to that care of our men, but we also liked to be treated like princesses and we don't take any sh!t.
It seems to me that you are judmental a closed minded. I hope that someday you realize that you can't judge a book by it's cover.

No matter what changes I've made to my exterior, in no way has this changed who I am and always will be. Sencodly, you are fool to think that I did this to attract a man. I found my man 11 years ago and I am still happily married to that same man. And as far as this being a selfish act, you certainly have your opinion, however to me your opinion means squat, so I guess we are both happy :)

Woreska, Unfortunately, I don't know of any docs in Barranquilla, but I belong to a forum that was created by a plastic surgery patient for patients to lend support and help each other research. They can post questions and if any other member has had an expirience with the question that you are asking, they will definately post answers. I know there is one girl on the board that is going to Cartagena in Feb 2007. She is going to Dr. Henriquez and she might be able to help you by sharing her research with you. I had my surgery in Bogota Colombia I highly recommend the doctor that did my lipo and tummy tuck. His name is Julian Morales. Te name of his clinic is Medical Spa. It is located right in front of "El Parque de la 93", a very nice area in the north of Bogota. Dr. Morales will be here in Miami June 21, 22, and 23 to do consultations. If you want to share you plastic surgeons info... Birdie,
I too posted my expirience to share and it is very understandable for people to be skeptical. It is only normal. Don't take it personally. There are a few things that make people think that you are advertising or being a mole for the doctor like posting your same post several times in the same board and on other boards or not posting before and after pictures. I posted my pictures so that everyone that was interested could see the doctor's work. Also you can just post your doctor's info so that those that are interested can contact him directly.

I believe that you are a real patient, and that you are probably so exited about your expirience that you just wanted to share it. You should post some of your pictures so that the people that are researching can see them.

By the way I am still super happy with my results and would recommend my plastic surgeon to anyone that wants to have surgery in Bogota. His email is jmmedicalspa at yahoo.com and his website is www.mdmedicalspa.com.

Lets see some of your before and after pictures or maybe your sister's or all of your friends that you say have had surgery with your PS. You have answered everyone one of my posts recomending your PS but nothing to back it up. Furthermore, I caught you in a lie, because you posted that this PS operated your sister and then on the same day in another post you wrote that she operated you. This sound kind of fishy. Either you get a commision, work for the doc or your are the doc.

Look, I don't get paid to recommend Dr. Morales. I simply post his website and email address so that others that like my results can inquiry with him directly.

I can recommend Dr. Julian Morales Hi Rudie,
I had my surgery with Dr. Julian Morales in Bogota, Colombia. He is in my opinion, one of the best plastics surgeons. The girl mentioned in this link(Mauikai Gold)is a PBH member that documented her surgery (Latina Linda). She contacted me through this board and I recommended her to see Dr. Morales and after meeting him, she decided to have her surgery with him.
And it's totally true what Miami Mikes says about middlemen. Dr. Morales offers his patients an apartment with food, transportation and a nurse for $90 per day. This is optional though, and you can do your own arrangements if you decide that it is better and cheaper for you.
Also Dr. Morales speaks English. You can email him pictures and he will reply with a price. His email address is jmmedicalspa at yahoo.com

Latina Linda is doing great Hi guys,
I was the one that recommended Latina Linda to Dr. Julian Morales. I met her in person before the surgery and I saw her a week and a half ago and I have kept in touch with her over the phone. She is doing great and she looks great. I'm sure that she hasn't posted because she is still recuperating. Also she had been having problems with her computer, from what she told me.

You said that $12000 was steep for full body lipo. Believe it or not that is what I was quoted at the Center for Cosmetic Surgery in Ft Lauderdale, and most websites that have prices charge on a per section basis, so by the time you get a quote for the entire body that's when it gets expensive. The big difference between plastic surgery in the US and in Colombia is that the technique is different. In Colombia the majority of the doctors do Lipoescultura, which is geared at contouring the body to give it a harmonious shape.

I still think that Colombia is a much cheaper and better alternative even with the hotel and airline tickets. Also I liked the fact that where I had my work done, they offer the post op therapy included in the price of the surgery. I am very satisfied with the results. Thanks for sharing your all your info, it is always good to have several options. That is why I posted my expirience, I was soooo happy with my results that I just wanted to share the info. Plastic surgery is such a risky thing in it self, so finding a great doc is very important and everyone should do their research, I know I did mine.

Liposculpture is a technique that is used to conture the body to a proportioned look. The results are great. I had my surgery a few months ago, and I have gone from a size 7 to a size 1.
