These Free Trade Agreements concern me. Of course, I want Colombia's economy improving, but with too much interference you seem to have another U.S. proxy economy, part of an economic empire. I believe in local sovereignty and economy, because that is what keeps countries unique and non-subserviant to U.S. interests. I'm curious how Free Trade affects ordinary Colombians like it has in Mexico with the corn-crisis (cf. http://www.reuters.com/article/politicsNews/idUSN2018168620071220).

I guess I got cut off there. I looked at the British Council's CELTA page (http://www.britishcouncil.org/colombia-english-teach-english-professional-development-teacher-training-celta.htm) and they seem to be prestigious and rigorous enough! Anyone know where to put a CELTA certification to use? Thanks all!

Thanks for responding to my 1st post ever on here---one more question, however.... What does a SIM card run; where do you buy it; and is it legal? I'll be there for only 1 month, and I just want to be able to save #'s of friends who I make. Thanks.
