NY and Delaware Right now I'm working in Delaware (most boring State ever!) the weather is just as crappy as NY's.... I've lived there for over 10 years ... I should find a job further down, Florida, perhaps? LOL , but I'm sick and tired of this weather.

That smile makes you feel alive I wonder myself how much longer it will take before I go back to my beloved Colombia.....woke up this morning to 7-10" of snow, felt like 20F, took me 15 mnts to clean up my car, got my clothes all wet and dirty, I've had a killing cold all of this week, and here I was on my way to work...lol....oh boy, oh boy, how do I miss sunny Cali and it's beautiful woman, weather, food absolutely everything!!!

GIB I admire your guts and determination ! I wish I could leave behind the "material things" that tie me up to this country and finally be honest w/ myself and go back to Colombia, in order to have that smile that you've found amongst our people, sorrounded by true human warmth and understanding for each other.

Should be helpful....if your fiancee is gringo, try not to take him to Sabana de Torres ( Paramilitary country ) and the sorrounding area. I was recently there and they had a "Paro de Paras" people aren't allowed to leave town, businesses close...it was quite an experience....and the military patrols the city, asking people what's going on...see my image gallery ( posted a pic con los soldados )
