vicshere says on Aug 15, 2007, 08:09: Campbell I have been to Texas a few time in my life and I worked there for a couple of months...I use to go windsurfing there a lot when I was younger....in particular I love the southern part near Texas...now keep in mind the last time I was there was about 10 years ago..so maybe its changed....but I love the south parde area..I think or I did 10 years ago love the natural beauty of the area......I love the ocean and sand....at that time the area didn't have high tourism ...but enough to get along with..... I could see myself buying something on south padre and being close to the ocean and still be close to all the modern amenities that I have grown accustomed to which to a certain extent are missing in Colombia...South Padre which is much like for example Santa Marta....but without all the political shit here in Colombia....also as a Canadian I cannot live in the US until I retire which is still a long way off...so here I am in Colombia and loving it listo |

scarby558 says on Nov 9, 2007, 13:30: hey vicshere. I was reading posts on the visa and paperwork section and you commented that you could help this person find work teaching English in Bucaramanga... is that still a possibility? I am working with a company called AIESEC... at the moment they are making things really complicated so I think I will have to be on my own with this. I will be in B/manga in Decemeber. Anyway you could help me out or offer some advice? Email me, scarby558 at yahoo.com. Thanks a lot :)

jh816 says on Feb 13, 2008, 05:51: Wow, some people have a lot of free time. I won't waste my time with the children on the board. I'm a certified teacher with more than 5 years experience here and in the US, and have a master's in business. It's a quality school, and I'd put my students up against any other school any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
