i would love to know if there are any cliche groups in high school and universities in Colombia. Is it the same as in America where you've got your burnouts, jocks, nerds, freaks, art lovers etc or is it like the UK where everyone is a loser who swears a lot and smokes whatever they get their hands on? :-) ...

MAKE POVERTY HISTORY?

The idea the Bob has is if we cancel debt in africa, poverty will evaporate. But what about LATIN AMERICAN DEBT!!!! and other Asian debt? If they want to make poverty history, they better cancel the rest of the worlds debt too because its not fair if they dont!!!!! ...

Food! (it's making me sick)

there is no nice way of saying this but...
every time i go to colombia and eat the food i throw it up!!!!
well not continuously but at least twice.
is this common, or is someone trying to poison me?!!!
also, even though i eat loads(im talking mountains of food) i somehow lose weight!!! i lost 4 kgs last time i went and that is kind of scary.
has anyone else experienced this or am i just odd? ...

Is it true that you cant ride on a motorbike with a helmet? i never saw anyone wearing one and i remeber my mum mentioning dat it was to do with hitmen, and that helmets would disguise the persons face or something like that.... ...

OMG I JUST DID MY SPANISH ORAL!!!
THE PRESENTATION WENT ALRIGHT BUT THEN SHE ASKED ME SUM QUESTION ABOUT DA COLOMBIAN AND U.K GOVERNMENT BEING DIFFERENT AND I DIDNT NO WHAT TO SAY SO I ENDED UP SAYING DAT THE U.K GOVERNMENT WERE STRICTER. AT LEAST I CAN MAKE IT UP IN DA WRITTEN AND LISTENING.

Universities in Colombia

Hi,
I am from the UK and I'm 17. My mum is Colombian and she thinks it would be a good idea if I moved to Colombia for uni. I'm kind of worried as even though I understand most things in Spanish I sometimes find it difficult to speak the language.I can say most stuff but i get my tenses mixed up and also i get embarassed when i talk because im not totally fluent.
