Guiria > Pedernales > Tucupita in the Delta Amacuro

Anybody ever done this journey, or know anything about any of these places?

Apparently there are boats to Pedernales from Guiria a few times a week. And I think there are boats to Tucupita from Pedernales as well. I don't have any information about Pedernales, other than it's not reachable by road and there are a couple basic hospedajes there...

Any additional info would be much appreciated!

Cheers
Andy

Thanks for the response C5vzla!

I recently talked to someone who has taken boats from Tucupita to Pedernales... I believe on the Cano Manamo. He said it took about 2.5 hrs and cost under $10...hopefully this is still the case.

He also told me that the posadas are usually filled up with oil workers, so it can be tough to get a room sometimes.... is this your experience?

Thanks,

Andrew
