Have Visa in Passport. Going to Angel Falls, Isla Magarita and Los Roques island in October. Is there anywhere else I should not miss? Does Venezuela have a black market for changing money these days?

Conchale Vale!! says on Oct 4, 2008, 10:18: You will find lots of people offering to change in the airport. Know what the rate is first it changes everyday. Look up dollar en paralleo on the internet to get the daily rate. However be careful there is a lot of fake paper in Venezuela. When exactly are you going? I have a business in Valencia with my girlfriend and we have Bs to change problem might be timing and location though. As far as what not to miss..everything. Margarita go to Playa manazillo, punto arena, aunscion. I would probably pass on la restinga. Los roques is great but I think very expensive for what you get and if you are a diver there are better reefs for way less money. In and around Caracas you have clolonial tovar, hattillo. Merida is also great. Mochima and Morrocoy are both nice national parks with good beaches. Have a great time.

In Puerta la Cruz now and will take a ferry to Margarita today. Colombianos: Las armas os han dado independencia, las leyes os daran libertad. (Santander) 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

The trip in over the mountains is also great passing waterfalls etc. My fav place that I visited there (although didnt make it to ie Merida, Angel falls).
