Vadoom comments on The cycle of "abuse" continues Well, as I never had a hole to deliver a baby I was, I am and I will be male chauvinist
|
|
Vadoom comments on The cycle of "abuse" continues "This is typical eurocentric (or should I say anglosaxon?) point of view as well as race classification." Race? How did race come into this? All the people mentioned in my post are as white as anyone on the planet. Race? Did someone mention juan pablo??? he mentioned Colombian machista. According to official statistic in Colombia only about 20% are Spanish descents and others are mulats, metizos, blacks, indigenos...

Vadoom comments on The cycle of "abuse" continues "The cycle of abuse..." This is typical eurocentric (or should I say anglosaxon?) point of view as well as race classification. All Oriental cultures (and Latins) based on one simple fact that men and women are not equal in any ways. The men duty is to feed a family whilst women look after children and keep houses tidy.

Vadoom comments on Any real Kazaks in Colombia? sure it is. i've no idea what you've been told. do not tell me about Koreans. My anckle married to Korean and her brother pretty good in Kazakstan, one of wife's friend is Korean living in Kazakstan. Chechens use Kazakstan as a kind of resort for their wounded militians and sure as hell they do not like their guerilleros be captured and deported back to Russia. There is a refugees program in Russia and all those bastards wanted to earn money from russian government. and these m..fookers told me "do not mind we know this is not a true but we need money". This scenario they use everywhere last time in South Ossetia. Do you remember Russian histerics about thousands killed dead? RUSSIAN (!) prosecutors proved only 300-400 deaths over 6 days of this war. Do you remember Russian claims of Tskhinvali been 100% vanished? Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported only 30% of damaged AND destroyed buildings. Remember Tskhinvali is small town with 30,000 population. Have you seen Tskhinvali and surroundings in Internet? you can see facilities like pump stations or supermarkets in perfect condition and bouldozered georgian houses in Tskhinvali. In fact, a few Georgian villages in South Ossetia were completely destroyed and burnt off. You have not heard squabbles between Russians and Jewish emigrants...

Vadoom comments on FARC Theory vs. Reality "A war that Rusiya lost to Britania." Russia never admits anything like this. What do you really know about 1st Chechen war in 1995-96 when 150 million Russia lost to Chechnya of size and population of Huila department?

Vadoom comments on Death & Dying in Colombia Rikito, I posted the link above http://www.mapfre.com.co/default.asp?contentID=35. This is Spain insurance (real insurance, not medical organisation like EPS) company working in Latin America as well. I would ask someone Spanish speaking to translate the terms.

Vadoom comments on Any real Kazaks in Colombia? really, Cakedesigner? In UK? They are right about it even name of his character is a fake. As I said before this prick Tone either Russian or german born in Kazakstan. Once Soviet Union fell apart Russians living there, suddenly realized they are not elite anymore, just ordinar sitizens having the same rights as many others. It made them angry and foolish, millions left Kazakstan and some of them (not all to be honest) claiming that Kazaks confiscated their houses, raped their relatives, killed their pets etc. Fooking hell! Can you imagine a few millions of Americans immigrated to Colombia, lived and ruled here for 70 years then left the country for whatever reasons and kept talking that English must be official language and, for instance, North Colombia should be US territory because they invested money and have some property overhere?

|
Vadoom comments on FARC Theory vs. Reality Youp. there is an expression in Russia "Englishwoman did a crap". Which refers to one of British queens heavily opposed Russia. I think during Crimea campaign in 19th century

Vadoom comments on Total autonomy for the American military in Colombia? Let me guess wasnt this 5 bases deal a part of Uribe meeting with Obama recently? I think Uribe (stepping down) tries to secure Colombia from hot heads like Chavez. As far as I know american military personnel on overseas bases are immunized like diplomats are. No matter what country Afghanistan or Japan.

Vadoom comments on Converter / Adapter I bought my laptop being in UK and went to Tesco for set of adapters just before I fly over to Kazakstan to take my family to Colombia. These adapters work fine here, just plug in laptop to adapter and adapter to the wall socket. All sophisticated appliances are adapted to work in 110-220 v and 50-60 hz except maybe some irons, hairdryers etc

Vadoom comments on LOCKED UP OVERSEAS IN SOUTH AMERICA "And many north americans have a superiority complex about themselves when they live or travel in other countries". People are the same all over the world. I'd seen north Americans both being stupid and great as well as many other nationalities. Here in Zipaquira salt cathedral i heard american saying "What the HELL is that" pointing to some salt figurine.

Vadoom comments on Opening a Bank Account I opened up account at Banco de Occidente. That was easy and took just half an hour because company I work for uses this bank for transactions. The card they gave me is not credit, debet one and I cannot use it over Internet, even their own online banking. Trying Bank Santander was not a luck, they wanted all financial info for last year or 2 (and not just scanned copies, originals), including cards' transactions, savings etc.

Vadoom comments on Death & Dying in Colombia Remember Australian died in Kazakstan. His insurance company (dont know the name, something "A...") shipped his body back to Australia. It took a while because the company does not work in Kazakstan directly so they went through a bunch of insurers to find a way.

Vadoom comments on Any real Kazaks in Colombia? Мучачо, вы не пробовали переписываться по русски с неким Тони ака Изи И, выдающим себя за казаха? Да ещё вроде как преподающего русский?

Vadoom comments on Any real Kazaks in Colombia? {it's one of the finest delicacies on this earth.} I ate kebabs made by Azerbaijan, Kazak, Russian, Armenian, Uzbek, Iraqi (or Kurd?). people tastes differ. you like kebab i prefer kazy. That could be another quiz question for "so-far-kazaks" - What is kazy?

Vadoom comments on Any real Kazaks in Colombia? Вы не в дипломатическом учреждении работаете? Иран далеко, в последнее время много казахов переехало оттуда в Казахстан. Бежали в своё время от Советской власти.

|
Vadoom comments on Any real Kazaks in Colombia?

Vadoom comments on Any real Kazaks in Colombia? El Expatriado, I am not the same person, never been jailed or charged for any crime. Before applying for work visa I was asked by Colombian embassy to give them apostilled police certificate. Ok, you worked for Hurricane, Kumkol or KazGermunai. The word "Rahmet" came from Arabian language and we use it widely. Try this one www. translit.ru. You can type Latin and get Cyrillic.

Vadoom comments on Any real Kazaks in Colombia? Sam Salmon, Thank you very much! I think I know this place - Almaty, Uzbek restaurant "Tyubeteika". People in national dresses sitting behind her are Uzbeks actually. But singer is Kazak in Kazak national dress. HTK is Kazak TV company.

Vadoom comments on Any real Kazaks in Colombia? "Borat" is stupid, racist movie and has nothing to do with Kazakstan. 1. Village, filmed in this movie located somewhere in Balcans. Possibly Romanian or most likely Gypses. 2. People speak in language which is not Kazak at all. 3. The President is actually Aliev the President of Azerbaijan not Nazarbayev. El Expatriado, I can prove it more easily just showing my passport. PM your email address and I can send you scanned copy with Colombian working visa in it. Where did you live or work in Kazakstan? Atyrau, Aktau, Aktobe? What company or oilfield? I used to work at North Buzachi, Tengiz, Aksai. 1. I have no idea who is an owner. 2. There are two options depending on region and context - Sau bol or Rahmet. I have my own questions to all those people to give a proof and these questions are based on history and genealogy which any Kazak should know. For instance we kept tribal system to avoid marriages between close relatives and should know at least 7 generations before, I know all my ancestors back to 15-th century. Have you heard of it, El Expatriado? So my question is - What is your tribe? Руы кiм? Well, Russian speaking can find Kazak genealogy in Internet but I can ask Kazaks in Kazakstan and find anyone who has nothing to do with us. Another my question would be why I write KazaKstan not KazaKHstan. Tone Loc is easy-e now I suppose. And my guess he is Russian/German born in Kazakstan and moved on in 90'th with his parents. All well educated Kazaks speak Russian fluently. So please, answer in Russian or Kazak if you know.

Vadoom comments on Medical insurance Assalam wa aleikum wa rahmatoullahi wa barakatouh. I knew only three things about Colombia before I came in here. These are - guerilla, cocaine, coffee. As for medical insurance this has been organized for me by the company I work for. EPS is CafeSalud and plan - one of Excelco - covers I guess almost everything. As far as I know cancer is also covered. I pay about $100USD per month and company's share is about twice this amount. The "bono" is 12,000-13,000 Cop per visit but this is not a big deal I would say. My colombiana companera with exactly the same plan got the 20,000,000 COP bill from hospital (kind of surgery) and paid off 12,000COP "bono" only. First 12 months you can go to any of Cafesalud, SaludCoop and CruzBlanca clinics. Afterwards, you have to stick with one of the above. Yet, the plan covers all 3 of us - wife, daughter, myself. http://www.cafesalud.com.co/ http://www.cafesaludmp.com/
