"V"illegas accourding to a couple of tour guys I talked to after the tournament in Tucson he is known as Camillo "V" illegas. You guys know what I'm talking about.(allright, if you still didn't get that let's just say he's popular with the ladies)

Camillo I followed him around last Sat. & Sun. at the Chrystler Classic in Tucson and he definately is the "real deal". It was great to see him play in person and also to meet a few other colombians who were also following him. my wife always tolerated my golf playing and watching but now she's pretty stoked to watch if he is playing.

Dreaming Have you ever had dreams in spanish? definately not the definition of fluency, but a pretty damn good sign. I think this happens more with people who are completely emersed, ala GIB. when this began happening regulaly it was a personal indicator of my fluency for me.

I was going to reccomend swiping a ring of hrs to have sized or asking a close friend of hers to help you with your secret mission,but after reading on it seems that you aren't physically near her(have you ever met her in person?)so i guess that is out of the question.and i guess if this is a long distance thing that you probably don't know any of her friends or familyto help you(a sign?).
anyway,if your going ahead with it definately ask the mother. IMHO ,

i'm a 25 y/o american married to a colombian.we're going to be in colombia for a couple weeks in december. I suggested some time on a finca and the whole family(colombian) said no way. they do it all the time, but since i was bringing my non fluent uber gringo parents and unclethey said security was definately a risk.why take any risk with your family's life.and yes, these are people in the know who have dealt with kidnapping in the past.
