If you are staying in Bogota please consider my girlfriend's apartment for your stay. When she is not working she will be more than happy to accompany you around Bogota. She doesn't speak perfect English but she tries very hard and loves loves learning the language. She is a professional with a good education and works for the government. She is a very trustworthy and gentle person. Even if you don't rent from her and you are in Bogota you could call her and she will be happy to show you around. She loves speaking English and practicing her skills.

I completely understand your frustration with this site. I too made a comment about how people handle this forum. Truth is, some people obviously have too much time on their hands and spend way too much time online trying to find their social niche.
I leave for Colombia this weekend, once I return i will have no use for PBH. I have gained some useful details, but the people on this site are exhausting and don't make it worth the time.
