Travelling to the Mexican Riviera - Need some tips

Mexico is not my favorite...but a vacation is a vacation. I am looking for the best city to purchase beautiful pottery. I will be going to the following cities: Acapulco, Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa, Puerto Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas.

Ummmm.... Ixtapa might be your best bet.... The others are full of tourists and tourist prices....

You will be missing a great place to buy by not visiting the Guadalajara. Near this Major Mexican city is a town called Tlaquepaque. They have a huge craft marketplace,,,Not to mention Guadalajara is the Birthplace of the Famous Mariachis,,,dump a tourist trap like Acapulco off your schedule and go see the real Mexico in Guadalajara. You will not regret it-only 2 hours east of P.Vallarta
