Baby to India

I've been hanging out on some other forums too since we decided to take our (1 1/2) year old baby/toddler to India for a month, and a lot of things I heard have made me doubt whether it's a good idea.. But today I went to the traveldoctor to discuss things (and get some shots), and she said lots of people take kids to India these days, it's totally *not* irresponsible. And that's from some of the world experts on global travel.

So there you go, it's *not* irresponsible to take babies/toddlers to travel with you in India.

Wow, good for you guys! Congrats on having the nerve and the energy to do that with your toddler.

I wouldn't go as far as saying that someone is irresponsible taking their toddler India. If you have common sense and have consulted the medical experts then it's hardly irresponsible. I just personally wouldn't have done it myself when my daughter was that age. I would have been too freaked out and worried about her getting sick from food or something to that effect but I was also a very overprotective Mom when she was that age. Hopefully you can get pedialite there. (that's the Mom in me coming out..haha).

So what did they give the baby as far as extra shots? Anything?

Tell me are you going to get one of those cool baby-carrying-packs? (what are they called anyway?) Those things are awesome.

I just read that on the other thread. You should make the baby in the suitcase your profile pic! So darn cute.
