Hello. Been here 6 mths in campo. Now starting a 1 yr 'sabatical' (doin next to nowt - not even interested in chasing the siliconas - still need a few more years to get over the ex, though i do like a bit of fun and have lots of good friends here). A couple of weeks ago a friend was travelling on an early morning bus from Barranquilla to Monteria. The bus was full. He had an enforced stay recently in a hospital in Medellin and was dismayed at the plight of locals without insurance having to bear up without pain-killers. These types of drugs are expensive here apparently.

Buenas dias, apologies if this is answered earlier. My first post. Been here in Med 5 months now. Thought it would be just a few weeks at first but the job grew. Came in on a tourist visa as thought the work visa would be too much of a hassle to get and a lot of paperwork. Been out to Panama twice to renovar it.
