Titofijo, that is 100% incorrect.

1.) Canadians entering the US or Americans entering Canada via air require Passports.

2.) Canadians entering the US or Americans entering Canada via land or sea border crossing only require Photo ID and Proof of Citizenship.

3.) Next summer a Passport will be required by both Canadian and Americans no matter how they cross the border.
