tfrvra comments on Info on Bogota (nightlife/spanish class) vs Medellin Cuban community in Bogota??? Rubiazo, you mentioned that there is a significant Cuban community in Bogota? I'm really missing my Cuban friends (not to mention Cuban style salsa) and would love to connect with the Cuban community here, but I haven't been able to find any Cubans. Do you or anyone have any ideas on how to connect with the Cuban community in Bogota? I'm not sure if the consul is the way to go, or word of mouth. Any help would be appreciated.

tfrvra comments on Moving to Bogota thanks Thanks for the tip. I checked it out and it will definitely come in handy. One questions though---while I like salsa, I am a huge fan of Cuban timba. Do you know of any places that play a LOT of cuban salsa/timba like Los Van Van, Charanga Habanera, etc?
