Tejeringo comments on 1 Year in ... Bogota or Medellin? Yo I'm also an Network Engineer but more kinda of Sr N Eng. I think you should be thinking in staying in Colombia longer than a year unless you're willing to work for peanuts in the U.S. I would say stay in Bogota, that would give you the opportunity to get more powerful connections for your future. Moreover hot girls from MED ,CTGN,etc are migrating to Bogota for better jobs opportunities .

Tejeringo comments on Is the Arepa actually Venezuelan? yes but just the name AREPA, in Mexico in some towns and cities it is called with different name,"Gordita", "Pastes", etc, and it is also made from Corn (real Corn dough) and even from Wheat ( this type is not filled with food) and come in smaller size and don't eat them religously every day. But big difference is that in Mexico we don't prepare them with pre-cooked corn flour or in the nasty way I've seen in Venezuela where you really need a big mouth so you can devoure the gigantic pieces of chicken, cheese etc they put in the Arepa.

Tejeringo comments on Los Colombianos Jugadores en Mexico Some people here don't have the sligthest idea about the Mexican league level, they are very competitive unfortunately their style don't help them much against teams from Europeans league.

Tejeringo comments on Sign Of Falling Colombian Economy? Just as I predicted last year, you will see no later than March,, 2700-3000 per 1 USD. This rate will continue through all 2009, but mid 2010, Pesos Colombianos will revaluate up to 1200 - 1500 per 1 USD. T

Tejeringo comments on What city is right for me?? "My advice if you are loking for attractive women with little or no competition with locals - go to pueblos. Acacias, Granada, Puerto Lopez, San Martin, etc. Most of the guys between 18 and 60 are gone. Those places are full of nice ladies. Screw the big cities." really!! I've never would have thought that. I always believed most Hot and Attractive women migrate to big cities where they can get more chances to exploit their physical attributes, pretty much like in L.A where most Hot Girls are from others States.

Tejeringo comments on SINCE AMERICA IS A COUNTRY, IS AFRICA A COUNTRY TOO? They use "Americans" because they could not find any other name to be identified by. Actually if you see , this is Country has NO REAL NAME. "United States of America" ----- none of this word is a real name except for America, but America BELONGS to the whole CONTINENT. but CANADA,MEXICO,GUATEMALA,SALVADOR,NICARAGUA,CR,COLOMBIA,ETC,ETC they DO HAVE an IDENTITY a NAME. This is just somothing I've always been wondered since I was a Kid.

Tejeringo comments on Why don't Combiano(a)s like Mexicano(a)s? "That is correct! Up to two years ago they used to claim that cumbia was another of their own creations but thanks to the Internet it is almost impossible today to embrace the public with such a venture." Hey monpirry do you have proof of that?, if not then you simply do not know what you are talking about, btw Internet was created more than 20 years ago. Personally I do not really care where a dance music was invented, but if I like it I just dance it, btw hopelly I will a find a good place in Colombia to dance some Cumbia and show off. In regards the PICANTE en la comida, for people of other countries who are not used to PICANTE, there are very special flavors in the PICANTE that make the Food taste really Good. If you are not used to you simply feel your Tongue Burning , that's it.

Tejeringo comments on Furnished apartment prices in Bolivars [e.g. in MED, it is 2 Million pesos per month all inclusive] - Safety in general and Safety in taxis A.- Outside of big cities like caracas or maracaibo they are safe . - avergae temperature range [e.g. in MED, it is 68-78 F) A. Maybe you shoud try San Cristobal del Tachira. - Average Taxi ride in Bolivars [E.g. In MED, average ride is 5-6.000 pesos] A. In Caracas 6-9 USD - Women in comparison to Colombians. Not physical beauty... but what is on the inside which I find intoxicating in Colombian women. Are they more "carinosas, sencillas and consentidas" like colombian women or less? A. It depends where city girls are from but Caracas,Maracaibo. For the most part like U.S women . Girls from any other city are okay. - How much are "locals" anti-American... or fascinated by America [e.g. In MED, locals are respectful to Americans without being fascinated by America] A. I would say tipical Venezuelan are not very knowleagable about other Cultures they only care about what is going in their own Country pretty much like Gringos in that sense. T

Tejeringo comments on The Mexican donkey and Colombian Inmigration hehe pobre burrito mexicano hizo tan largo viaje sonando con encontrar a una burrita colombiana , ahora se ha quedado triste y alborotado..

Tejeringo comments on IS COLOMBIA BECOMING A NEW INMIGRANTS DESTINATION? Most likely those cubans in Colombia are not professionals, and if they were they have not practiced it. Cubans know they can't stand a chance in the job market competing with Colombian Professionals, that's why the majority of them would rather go to Florida where they can be somebody, remember Floridas's under Control of Cubans, if your are not Cuban in Florida your are nobody..

Tejeringo comments on mexico the new colombia? "Why do these Mexico vs Colombia topics always go off the rails? ..............." agreed, peace and love , peace and love everywhere.....amen

Tejeringo comments on mexico the new colombia? "People from the periferias of the DF tend to eat the vowels leaving all the consonants, sounds absolutely horrible" hehehe wtf ? do you really have an idea how would any language sound without VOWELS? there is NO WAY any language can be spoken without vowels period. I can assure you any of you that if I take a graduate student of any well established University in Mexico City, Monterrey or Guadalajara, or even my own small City (where I used to live) can beat any student in Colombia at the same level as far a Spanish Grammar usage is concern , not talking about accent because each country has their own and most of them think they are unique and the best. I spent a couple of years living in Venezuela and my friends used to tell me they had the most neutral spanish accent in the continent, hehehe go figure! . I am familiar with the colombian spanish grammar in the region of Barranquilla and to be honest that is exactly something not to be really proud of. I knew a couple of Colombians from Bogota in Caracas and eventhouh they talked in a very formal and respectfully way still they used a lot of non standard words (regionalism slangs) on their speech and detected some flaws in their grammar. And NO the Quality of Spanish you hear day to day in the U.S (Mexicans) is not the same its spoken in Mexico.

Tejeringo comments on mexico the new colombia? sanandressi is this a forum to discuss illegal inmigration ? I do not think so right. Illegal inmigration is wrong thats all I have to say. One more thing, and when I say my people I refer to my people in Mexico the ones who do not need shit from U.S.

Tejeringo comments on Anyone knows why tenga flip hole 5 and codyintl have been deleted? hey where is Mc gringo and where is my post?
|
|
Tejeringo comments on mexico the new colombia? Yes I know I can not win, but hey someone has to stand up for my people in this Gringo-Colombian site. Land is not cheap in Mexico. I'm just planning on getting ready to what it might come up in the next 7 years. Colombia has good natural resources and is far away from U.S. Mexico its just right here an advantage in the short term but big one disadvantage in the long term.
