And if anyof you hear about any up coming events in the Tampa, Florida area or Florida for that matter please let us know about it. The reason the Normal Orlando Event did not happen this year is the promoter got a late start planning the event and by the time he tried to get several good groups they were taken. Vallenato Music is becoming very popular and it's harder to get the good groups on big weekends. Vallenato it's not just for Colombia anymore!

As I have come to understand you dont say I love Vallenato you say I am Vallenato. As far as the Vallenato group i'm with La Innovacion Del Vallenato we are going to do a song or two in english which has not been done yet as far as I know. I an case it should be fun.

The song i'm learning now is Bonita by Diomedes Diaz. I love to talk about Vallenato Music and love to learn new facts and stuff all about the music. Don't ask me what happened I just got hook one day. The log on name I usually use on here is eywed I don't post to much under Tampavallenato on here as it hits the search engines so fast.

One is Jorge Celedon who was a singer with Binomio de Oro For a short time before going out on his own. Jorge Celedon teamed up with Jimmy Zambrano who plays accordion and they are still together and won a Latin Grammy last year for the Best Valleanto/Cumbia. The other singer is Jean Carlos Centeno who stayed with Binomio for a long time. Some like myself think He was the best front man Binomio had. Jean Carlos Centeno Left Binomio a few years ago to start his own group under his own name and is doing great. As for Binomio de Oro today, Israel Romero is still the accordion player and leads the Group. Israel Romero has always been the accordion player only taking a short time off to fight cancer years ago that he beat. I saw Binomio de Oro in concert couple of week ago and they still got it and can make a croud stay on their feet the whole time there playing . These four men have had a great influnce on this gringo so much so I started to play the accordion myself and have a Valleanto group here in the U S that I manage.

It's a mute topic. Where diffrent opinions come in to play on this topic is if you happen to run into a larger number of one group your thoughts will be thats how one country is as a whole when in fact thats not true.
