Jose, Pepe, Pepito...

So one of my ex boyfriends and a few of my guy friends are named Jose. Since it was hard to have conversations with 3 Joses in the room my ex told me that I can call him Pepito since it’s his common nickname, one friend said that I could call him Pepe since it is also a nickname for Jose...and of course the other one I could just call Jose.

So today I'm waiting in line at the bookstore and I start talking to this guy from Cali who tells me his name is Jose. So in a friendly way ...

If I take the time to make chat room for people to shoot the shit would some of you actually log on once in a while and say some stupidity, or will I just be wasting my time?

So far Tinto told me that we already have a yahoo chat but I'm still looking for it.

I've messaged a few people on what type they would prefer and not surprisingly the Canadians and Brits use MSN messenger while the Americans use Yahoo messenger.

Barbie?

Is being called Barbie by a Colombian supposed to be an insult or a compliment. On several occassions when walking in the street or sitting in cafes, restaurants, or walking in shops I was often refered to as Barbie.

Sometimes Barbie came with more words that I could only imagine were perverted because the guys made kissing noises. I suppose that should be flattering.....

Bucaramanga questions

I've been offered the opportunity to work in Bucaramanga for 6 to 12 months. I've been looking on the internet for information but I always seem to get results on Cartagena....I don't know why since they're not even close to each other!!!

I've been to Colombia but have only stayed in Bogota, Cali and Cartagena. My Colombian friends don't seem to be too fond of Bucaramanga because they say there is nothing to do there and it is really boring. I'm starting to take into consideration ...
