Elmo......... Reading your story as dispassionately as I can, I say once again you are a very good writer. I'll bet if you take all the posts you've written and put them together you would have a very funny, yet poignant story. It would bring to mind "Angela's Ashes" which was such a huge hit as a book though not so much as a movie. I laughed and cried at the same time as I read it. Elmo, I graduated Harvard, class of 1992, and there were those who couldn't tell a story half as well as you can. I'm rather stunned that you clean toilets for a living. I know a large part of being successful is networking, which I'm not so good at because I'm terminally shy. I think you have a lot of intelligence and charm and networking may come more easily to you. What do you think?

Pope's Passing I am not a practicing Catholic, but I feel very sad that the Pope's health is failing. I'll add to your comments, dwmte, by saying the Pope changed politics and the world itself. He was the first non-Italian Pope, he inspired Walenza(spell??)and the Polish people to question their authority which brought down the Wall in East Berlin and eventually Communism. It was such an exciting time. He's truly earned to rest in peace.

I don't know from Barranquilla, north or south. I know from the South Bronx. You painted a very colorful picture of where you are from. I don't know if it's a place I would want to visit. But to be honest, you sound like an arrogant bastard with a gigantic chip on your shoulder.
